This bright garnet-red Carmenere presents a pleasing aromatic expression. It opens elegantly to reveal its spicy character of black pepper with soft, elegant notes of tea leaf, rosemary and damp earth with delicate notes of chocolate on the backdrop. The elegant palate is underscored by delicious acidity, silky tannins, good balance and great depth, with flavours that recall spices, roasted red bell pepper and red fruits.

Sklizeň:
The 2015–2016 season started with a dry winter. The winter rains began in mid-July and total precipitation for the season was 9% higher than the historical average. Budbreak and flowering, however, both occurred within the historical averages. The summer temperatures were higher than normal in January and February, resulting in ideal conditions for ripening. This Carmenere reached its harvest date during the last fortnight of April and produced wines with soft yet complex tannins and a long, elegant finish.
